Sasha Lansky is a biker, photographer, and social justice activist. Originally from Amherst, MA, Sasha began using bikes to commute to school at a young age. She began bike touring with her family and later worked at bike shop. For several years Sasha co-ran a bike mechanics and safe riding skills program for middle school girls. She began racing bicycles three years ago. Sasha races for Dave Jordan Racing, a New York City-based development and elite team. She serves on the board of directors of Hazon, the Jewish environmental organization.
Having studied Anthropology, Human Rights/Humanitarianism, and African Studies in college, Sasha spent three years working in the International Justice Program at Human Rights Watch. Sasha will pursue a Masters at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University beginning in September 2017.
